The hybrid pump is driven by the patented Eddy Pump technology, which is much better than centrifugal, vortex, and positive displacement pumps in hard pumping jobs.

The system is controlled by a great number of electronic instruments which make the four onboard winches to follow a programmed dredging route, regulate the pump depth, and adjust the pump RPM. The dredge uses its cable based pump deployment to work effectively at depths of up to 100 feet.
